It is a jingly, Junkanoo kind of month here in the Bahamas and the sip’ sip’ is that you want to know all about it! December is a tantalizing time of year to come down to the islands to celebrate your Christmas holiday—the warm weather, delicious seafood, and colorful festivities will make you want to come back year after year. We kick-off the holiday season with a Christmas tree lighting ceremony at Pompey Square, where you can find concerts and events all month long. Join in on the Junkanoo fun starting December 26th by dressing up in colorful clothing and dancing to the soca and reggae beats of these incredible street performers. A Christmas trip to Nassau would not be complete without a quick daily stop at the beach—there is no doubt in our minds that this should be a holiday priority for all.
